Yes! When you rent Hideout on The Horseshoe for your wedding, you have exclusive access to the entire property from check in to check out. We want you to be able to relax and enjoy your total privacy while hosting your wedding with us.
Just yours! Because your rental includes the entire resort property, there is never another event happening at the same time as yours.
Hideout on The Horseshoe can easily accommodate weddings with up to 300 guests.
We have 19 total cabins, with varying layouts and numbers of bedrooms. You can host a total of 108 over night/weekend guests.

Yes! Since most of our couples check in to the property the day before their wedding, you are more than welcome to host your rehearsal at any time during your stay. You may also decide to host your rehearsal dinner on the property as well. A lot of our couples enjoy this option, as it allows for more time with their guests.
We allow up to 4 hours advance usage of the property prior to check in, that can be used for decorating.
We do! Our staff will set up the ceremony chairs at your chosen ceremony site and the tables and chairs at your chosen reception site. Yay! You get to spend more time relaxing and less time worrying about wedding details!
Though we have a number of amazing vendors that know our property well and that we’d love to refer to you, you are more than welcome to choose all of your own vendors.
Yes, you are absolutely welcome to bring your own alcohol. Hideout on The Horseshoe does not charge a corkage fee or any other fees related to the bar service. For safety, we would like you to use a TABC licensed bartender for your reception.
Since you have exclusive access to the entire property from check in to check out, there is no required “end time”. No need to worry about interfering with other guests, since the only guests on site will be yours. You can party all night long (and into the morning)!
You can book Hideout on the Horseshoe at any time but our more popular Spring and Fall months book as much as a year or more in advance. It’s best to connect with us as soon as you know you may be interested in booking the property.
Yes, there are several hotels within 15 minutes of the property. We are also close to the cities of Gruene and New Braunfels, which offer multiple hotel and entertainment options.
Absolutely! We have ample parking for property guests but some of our couples choose to shuttle their guests to and from other area locations.
Yes! You are welcome to visit the property with your photographer for both your engagement and bridal portraits. Week days are the best option for this and would need to be scheduled with us in advance.
Certainly! We allow sparklers as long as we are not in a county wide burn ban.
We do not have air conditioning in the pavilion, as it is an open air pavilion. Perched atop the hill above the Guadalupe River, we can usually count on a gentle breeze to cool guests. We do have heaters overhead, in the case of too cool temperatures, that keep guests quite toasty.
No, renting a tent is completely up to you. Our covered pavilion can seat up to 100 guests and overflow seating usually is positioned around the pavilion. Most of our couples love the outdoor setting of Hideout on The Horseshoe and choose to rent a tent only in the case of inclement weather.
